The University of Balamand congratulates two students from the School of Tourism and Hotel Management (THM), Cynthia Hemchaoui and Izzat Yassine, who have successfully completed their two-month internships at La Cigale Hotel in Doha, Qatar during the summer of 2025.

Cynthia received hands-on training in the Rooms Division, while Izzat was trained in the Food and Beverage Department. Both THM students had the opportunity to develop their professional competencies within a dynamic and multicultural five-star hotel environment. La Cigale Hotel, managed by Accor, is one of Doha’s most luxurious hospitality destinations, renowned for its exceptional service, modern design, and prime location in the heart of the city.

Dr. Jihane Adeimi, Director of THM, commented: "This internship at La Cigale Hotel Doha, which included workshops, has been a key step in the professional journey of our hospitality students.
