Admissions to the Faculty of Medicine & Medical Sciences
To apply to the Faculty of Medicine & Medical Sciences for the academic year 2024-2025, applicants must follow the guidelines listed below:
For applicants who would receive an answer by March 22, 2024:
- • Apply by February 23, 2024. Include an official transcript covering the freshman (if applicable), sophomore, junior years and the first semester of the senior year
- • Submit an MCAT score.
For applicants who would receive an answer by June 25, 2024:
- • Apply by March 29, 2024. Include an official transcript of records.
- • The Admissions Committee at the Faculty of Medicine & Medical Sciences will consider May 30, 2024 as the deadline for receiving MCAT scores.
Criteria to be adopted in the selection of medical students for the academic year 2024-2025:
Due to the cancellation of the January MCAT in Lebanon, modifications to the admission criteria for the medical school are as follows:
- • 40% for premed courses.
- • 25% for major courses.
- • 25% for overall average (GPA).
- • 10% for interview
Applicants not meeting these criteria may enhance their acceptance prospects by using a preexisting MCAT score.
