The Continuing Education Program

The Continuing Education Program incorporates community service with its mission to encourage and facilitate the continued development of the community. Our courses provide flexible contents and duration that address the diverse needs of non-traditional students regarding developing their professional skills and promoting their personal interests while taking into consideration the circumstances of community partners.

Admission to the Program
Candidates interested in registering in any of the CEP courses are requested to contact the CEP program coordinator to discuss the requirements and procedures for enrolment. The candidate is then responsible for finalising registration through the Office of Admissions and Registration.

Courses the Program Offers:
  • CEP "Regular" University Courses
These courses are regular university courses that may be taken by non-traditional university students. Students within this category pay the full cost of the course, may attain a grade and will receive a certificate for satisfactory completion of the course. The course may also count towards a future quest of the relevant degree.

  • CEP "Audit" Courses
These courses are regular university courses that may be taken by non-traditional university students. "Audit" students may enrol in "regular" classes, and they pay half the cost of the course. "Audit" students will not undergo testing or assessment and will only receive a certificate of completion of the course. The course does not count towards a future quest of the relevant degree but is instead taken for professional development purposes.

  • CEP "Short" Courses (Intensive)
Students within this category request for courses, to cover specific educational and professional needs (language courses included), which are not found within a "regular" university course. Attendees will receive certificates of attendance upon completion of the course. These courses are not equivalent to any of the "regular" courses and do not count towards a future quest of the relevant degree.

  • CEP "Admission Tests" Preparatory Courses
