UOB Students Achieve Distinction at UN Youth Voice 2025

Two students from the University of Balamand (UOB), Charbel Samia from the Department of Political Science and International Affairs (PSIA), Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Jenny Boutros, Master’s student in Graphic Design & Advertising at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA), participated in the UN Youth Voice 2025 event. This year’s event brought together young participants from across Lebanon to highlight important social issues through creative submissions.

Charbel earned third place in the short video category for a video he produced on gender equality, showcasing both his commitment to human rights and the strong academic foundation of the PSIA program. Jenny also earned third place in the Artwork/Graphic category for an organ donation campaign she developed, demonstrating creativity, social responsibility, and strong design skills.

UOB congratulates both students for their dedication and for representing the university with excellence. Their participation reflects the UOBs ongoing support for student creativity, leadership, and engagement in issues that matter to their communities.
