The University of Balamand (UOB) hosted a seminar titled “Partners in Inclusive Education: The Parent, the Nursery & the Shadow Teacher” on November 29, 2025. The event was organized by the Department of Education at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with the Syndicate of Nursery Owners in Lebanon (SPGL).

The seminar aimed to enhance cooperation among parents of children with special needs, nursery staff, and shadow teachers, emphasizing effective communication and teamwork to support each child’s growth and advance inclusive education.

Throughout the event, the Department of Education shared its expertise in the field of inclusive education. Participants also learned about the online Special Needs certificate and the soon-to-be-launched Teaching Diploma in Inclusive Education.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for educators, parents, and childcare professionals to come together and enhance inclusive practices in early education.
