The PreMed and 4Development Clubs at the Dekwaneh campus collaborated with Kun Hadi NGO, the Lebanese Civil Defense, and the Lebanese Red Cross to organize an awareness day on road safety. The event aimed to educate students on the importance of responsible driving and the dangers of distracted behavior on the road through educational and interactive activities.

Representatives from the Lebanese Red Cross and Civil Defense conducted informative demonstrations, instructing students on first aid procedures and emergency response techniques in case of car accidents. Kun Hadi engaged attendees with their car-flipping simulator that allowed participants to experience what it’s like to be in a flipped vehicle and learn how to exit safely. Additionally, this NGO tested reflexes in a challenge designed to show how a brief moment of distraction, such as using a phone while driving, can lead to serious accidents.

“Mind the Road” combined education, experience, and entertaining participation, empowering students with vital skills and a renewed sense of responsibility toward safer driving and community awareness.
