The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Balamand held a ceremony on October 23, 2025, at the Hariri Auditorium on the Koura Campus to honor students who demonstrated distinguished academic performance in their undergraduate studies.

In addition to the student honors, the event included the presentation of certificates to a group of Political Science and International Affairs and Environmental Sciences students who completed a mediation training programme organized by the Centre Professionnel de Médiation (CPM) of Université Saint Joseph – North Lebanon branch, under the umbrella of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).

In his address, Dean Dr. Hanna El Nakat expressed his pride and affection for the students, highlighting their dedication and the faculty’s continued support in guiding them toward academic excellence. He expressed confidence in their ability to sustain the same spirit of achievement as they move forward.

The event also served as an opportunity to express appreciation for faculty and staff whose mentorship and commitment have greatly contributed to the students’ success.
