The University of Balamand participated in the Lebanese Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery Conference 2025, held on the 4th and 5th of October at the InterContinental Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut. The event was organized by the Association of Plastic Surgeons of Lebanese Descent (APSLD) and brought together experts and professionals in the field of aesthetic medicine and surgery.

Under the guidance of Dr. Antoine Abi Abboud, Head of the Plastic Surgery Division, UOB team proudly presented five scientific talks during the conference:

• • Dr. Daniel Israwi (PGY-3): Novel Surgical Technique in Managing the Thick Skin Envelope in Rhinoplasty
• • Dr. Elie Dagher (PGY-1): Deep Plane Direct Brow Lift
• • Dr. Toni Kazzi (PGY-1): A Case of Subcutaneous Bilateral Mastectomy, Implant Reconstruction and Revision Surgeries for Rippling in a Patient with Multiple Fibroadenomas

The two-day conference featured a rich scientific program, international speakers, and active participation from surgeons, dermatologists, residents, and medical students. It served as a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, exploring new techniques, and encouraging collaboration in the field.
