The University of Balamand proudly announces that two of its Mass Media and Communication students, Lea Macari and Rafca Ibrahim, successfully completed internships at the Directorate General of the Presidency of the Republic during the summer of 2025.

Throughout their internship, both students gained comprehensive hands-on experience across multiple departments, including media, editorial, filming and editing, and social media. With the support of the Career Services Office at the university, they secured this valuable opportunity to contribute to drafting and summarizing official news about the President’s activities, translating and analyzing political content, and preparing written reports. They developed valuable technical skills in video and photo editing, scriptwriting, and content creation tailored for digital platforms. Attending press conferences and official events, they produced concise reports and recorded key discussions, enhancing their journalistic abilities in a professional setting.
