The University of Balamand’s Nutritional Sciences Program has officially received candidacy for accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) as of February 14, 2025.

ACEND recognizes the program's compliance with the ACEND accreditation standards.

This candidacy status allows students enrolled from this date onward to graduate from an ACEND-accredited program, ensuring they receive the highest standards of education.
