The University of Balamand is proud to announce that its Master’s and Bachelor’s in Nursing programs have achieved accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). This achievement was confirmed during the ACEN Board of Commissioners’ meeting held in April 2025.

This accreditation underscores the exceptional quality, academic rigor, and professional excellence embedded within UOB's nursing programs. It signifies that our programs meet the rigorous educational standards set by ACEN, one of the most esteemed accrediting bodies in nursing education. According to ACEN, the accreditation is effective from December 20, 2022, and the next evaluation visit will take place in Fall 2029.

This achievement would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the nursing faculty, staff, and academic leadership. The ACEN praised the University of Balamand for its clear commitment to excellence, dedication to student success, and continued improvement in nursing education. ​
