The Nursing Student Society at the Dekwaneh Campus celebrated influential Lebanese women and women-driven businesses at their event “Her Path, Her Power”.

The event featured an expo of women-led small businesses and welcomed notable guests who each shared their journey and experience with attendees: Lebanese running champion Aziza Sbaity, Hezzik Mezzik founder Veronica, Medica founder Jana Koteish, and Melodica founder Yara Gemayel.

The society emphasized their commitment to inspiring students through role models and fostering a culture of leadership and gender equality. They hope the event encourages young women to pursue their ambitions fearlessly.

When asked about the event, Mr. Michael Salem, Director of Student Affairs, stated: "This event not only celebrates successful women but also showcases the impact UOB students can have through meaningful initiatives. It highlights their ability to inspire both their peers and the wider community while serving as a reminder that success lies within every individual in our Lebanese society."
