On March 11, 2025, the University of Balamand (UOB) hosted a memorable Alumni Iftar at El Haj Ali Restaurant in Tripoli, marking the holy month of Ramadan and the Lenten season. The event brought together UOB alumni, deans, faculty members, and staff for an evening of reconnecting.

During the gathering, alumni showed their support by making generous contributions to the University’s Scholarship Fund, helping provide financial assistance to students in need.

Provost George Baher addressed the alumni, sharing exciting updates about the university’s progress. He emphasized that the true measure of UOB's success lies in the accomplishments of its graduates. “What matters most is seeing our students succeed in their careers after they leave UOB,” he shared.
