Building Back Stronger".
This forum is a landmark event within the framework of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and it aims to address the critical challenges facing Lebanon’s healthcare system amidst a series of ongoing national crises.
HEAL Forum will take place on June 3 at the University of Balamand, Koura Campus, Zakhem Auditorium.
Over the past years, Lebanon has endured compounding emergencies—economic collapse, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the devastating impacts of conflict. The most recent war has further strained an already fragile healthcare infrastructure, revealing significant gaps in crisis preparedness and public health resilience. This forum seeks to unite national and international stakeholders to examine these challenges and propose strategic actions toward building a more robust and adaptive health system. The congress will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and expert-led sessions covering topics such as crisis response, healthcare policy, public health preparedness, and the health implications of climate change. It represents a unique collaboration between academia, the military, and international partners to promote integrated crisis management solutions.
